The Bridal Process

It all starts with an initial email enquiry or phone call from you, the bride to be! I will confirm my availability in my first email to you in response to your enquiry along with my bridal prices and any additional information you may need. I like to know as much information as possible including how many you need hair and make up for, where you are getting married/ready on the morning of the wedding day and what time you are getting married so I can respond with what you will need from me. In the case that I am unavailable on your wedding date, I have a team of professionally trained Make Up Artists and Hair Stylists that can be booked through me.

The Trial

It's really important that we get together for a trial before the day of the wedding. It's very beneficial for me to gain an understanding of your specific needs or concerns and discover what make-up really works best for you. You can bring one additional person from the wedding party along to the trial (perhaps your mother or a friend would like to join you) but if they wish to be included in the trial itself, then this will be at extra cost and will have to be booked in advance so that I can allocate the extra time required. I always ask that you arrive to the trial wearing make-up that you like to do for a special occasion, this is so I can see what you naturally are driven towards (i.e: if you're a fan of bronzer, lots of mascara etc or very minimal) I also can travel to your home for the trial (please note for any travel outside of Brighton there is a small travel fee.) I recommend that you wear an ivory/white top or a top that close to the colour of your wedding dress to help you envision how you will look on your wedding day.

As I apply your make up I like to talk you through what I am doing and why and show you at each stage so that you can gain a few tips and tricks along the way and to be sure that you are happy with your make up look. If you would also like for me to do your hair on your wedding day or any bridesmaids/mother of the bride/flower girls hair then I can do that too and you can have your hair trial after your make up trial.

The Wedding Day

I aim to arrive at your location in plenty of time in which to set up my kit before starting. Timing is key to ensure that we all enjoy a stress free and relaxed morning,  I will provide a suggested time schedule for the morning in advance so that all the ladies concerned will know exactly when and where they will be needed. For larger bookings I bring an assistant to help me. I will aim to have your make-up completed so that you will have plenty of time to enjoy getting dressed and for a glass of bubbles! I will then stay with you for last minute touch-ups and photographs! I never book two weddings in one day, you are my first and only priority :)

Why book me?

Book me to be your personal make-up artist and hair stylist for your wedding day and I guarantee that you will meet a passionate, highly experienced and reliable professional who will make you look the most stunning version of yourself. Your make-up will stay beautiful all day long and look perfect to the naked eye and also in photographs. Brands I use are: Laura Mercier, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, Urban Decay, and Airbase Airbrushing Make-Up. All highly rated by industry professionals.

The First step would be to reserve your wedding date in my diary and the second step is to get a trial date booked in the diary for you. Due to the nature of my job I am mostly available for trials on weekdays in spring/summer due to the peak bridal season as I am usually working on weddings on saturdays.

Congratulations on your forth coming wedding!
